I've provided mental health services in country settings in Missouri, city locations such as St. Louis and New York, along with work within every level of care (outpatient, inpatient, and residential treatment) since the mid-1990s. I hold two graduate degrees from Lindenwood University in the metro St. Louis area, with one of which being in Counseling. My current state of license as a Professional Counselor is in New Jersey and have previously been licensed in Missouri and Illinois. I have had post graduate training in the areas of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. My approach has been refined over years for a person-centered focus with young to older adults struggling with multiple issues, such as depression, anxiety and addiction.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
