The counseling profession, for me, was precipitated out of a necessity to have an impartial view of the events of life. I believe there is power in addressing one’s physical and emotional needs. My toolbox of life experiences has provided me with the ability to understand common patterns of beliefs that affect most people in life’s journey. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia and a graduate of Liberty University. I have been licensed for several years and have worked in residential treatment and in a community-based healthcare organization. I have worked with children as well as adults. Currently, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy, but have extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Christian Counseling.

We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
