I grew up in Ohio, graduated high school, married, had 3 children and divorced before going to college. I loved Psychology right from the start, and that's how I got into this field. I have experience working in outpatient, IOP, and residential settings, and have done family, group and individual. My real love is outpatient counseling though, because I feel like so much can be accomplished. I started out in Domestic Violence, and then moved into Drug and Alcohol and Mental Health. I am licensed by the state of Ohio to diagnose and treat any mental health disorder. I am EMDR trained, and my areas of expertise include trauma, addictions, mood disorders, and adjustment disorders.
