Hello, I'm Steph. I'm really glad you're here! I know it can make you feel vulnerable to admit you're suffering and to ask for help; I hope you're proud of yourself for seeking out the support you need.

I specialize in LGBTQIA+ affirming care and use a holistic approach grounded in Queer theory, inclusive feminism, antiracism, and a systems-based lens. My goal is to help you better understand and express yourself and navigate your world. Whether you're experiencing life changes, are neurodiverse, dealing with anxiety, mild to moderate depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex PTSD (C-PTSD), feeling disconnected from your body, or seeking support with personal or gender identity exploration and development, I am here to support you. I also offer therapy that includes more 'bottom-up' or body-based/somatic approaches.

In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative therapeutic experience where I hold space for you with kindness and compassion, while also being direct and grounded. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly.

I hold a Master's degree (MA) and am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. My approach is deeply rooted in my commitment to inclusivity and understanding the unique experiences of each individual.

That contract governs the terms of participation on the Psych Hub site, and in some cases, as mentioned below, the provider’s, group’s, or network’s use of Psych Hub's educational content. Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
