I have been in public education for over twenty years. I have worked in general education (K-12) and with the special education population (K-12). I began my career as a life skills teacher, special education co-teacher, and finally a special education counselor. The focus of my career has been working with students with behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I have also assisted school staff with their struggles.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
