"Robin Knight is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who earned her MA in Professional Counseling from Central Connecticut State University in 2020. With over 4 years of experience, Robin specializes in a wide range of areas, including ADHD, adoption, anger management, anxiety, behavioral issues, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, self-esteem, and trauma and PTSD, among others. She employs a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Attachment-based therapies, CBT, DBT, and Trauma-Focused therapy, ensuring that each client receives evidence-based treatment tailored to their needs. Robin utilizes Measurement Informed Care with tools like the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 to objectively track client progress and symptom improvement. Robin's professional journey began in Child Welfare, working with foster and adoptive families, and she is also a Nationally Certified Counselor. Her personal experience as a foster and adoptive parent enriches her understanding and empathy in her therapeutic practice.
