Hello! My name is Rachel. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia. I graduated from my Masters in Mental Health Counseling in early 2014. I have worked as a mental health therapist for the last 11 years.
I have provided mental health therapy to young children, teens, adults, families, and couples. I have provided services in a variety of settings such as: residential-inpatient, outpatient clinics, emergency rooms, and a maximum-security prison.
I currently primarily work with Veterans, but also active duty, reserves, and national guard, primarily in the areas of combat and/or military sexual trauma. I have also worked with this population to help with readjusting to civilian life and other life stressors for 3+ years.
Talking about your problems with a non-judgmental, understanding, and caring professional can help with life's questions and problems. Sometimes we simply need a safe space to discuss our thoughts and feelings. Therapy will encourage you to dive deeply to challenge your assumptions, patterns of behavior, and beliefs about yourself and others. As you make changes, you make room for new possibilities, and the quality of your life transforms.
At times, life can feel overwhelming and challenging. I am motivated and dedicated to helping you achieve your therapeutic goals.
