Hello, I'm Rachel. I have a passion for working with people and helping break down the barriers they face through counseling. Since 2004, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals with both mental health and substance use disorders. My experience spans all levels of care, including outpatient settings, private practice, and leadership roles in the co-occurring field. I hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming and a Master's degree in Counseling from Regis University. Additionally, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor, with specialized training in Mental Health Nutrition and EMDR level II.
I have an extensive background in trauma, behavioral addictions, and mood disorders. One of my key areas of expertise is working with individuals who are pre- or post-bariatric surgery, as well as those struggling with binge eating disorder. I firmly believe that recovery is possible in both mental health and substance use, and I am passionate about helping people discover their purpose and a life worth living.
In our sessions, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental environment where we work collaboratively to address your unique challenges. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, and I strive to create a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Together, we will develop strategies to overcome obstacles and achieve your personal goals.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you on your journey towards healing and growth. If you're ready to take the first step, please reach out. Let's discover a path to a fulfilling and meaningful life together.
