In 1989, I graduated from the University of University of Southern Mississippi with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology. I have worked in a wide variety of settings. These include but are not limited to community mental heath centers, medical clinics, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and multiple group homes for troubled children and adolescents. I have been the Counseling Director/Disability Services Director at a community college as well as being a professor of psychology at a university. I have had my own private practice. I have also worked extensively with addictions. I have purposefully worked in all these varied areas so as to be as well-versed as a generalist clinician as possible. Said another way--in over three decades of practice I've see it all!

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
