I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I graduated from Florida International University with my undergraduate degree in Psychology, and later earned my graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Barry University. I have 10 years of experience in substance abuse treatment and the treatment of co-occurring disorders, and nine years of experience in education. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, anger, relationship issues, self-esteem, abuse, and trauma. I also completed an EMDRIA Approved Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Training (EMDR) in 2019.

I believe that change happens when people are provided with the guidance and support they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential. I provide an environment of compassion and encouragement to help individuals and families overcome obstacles to move forward and lead happy, fulfilling lives.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
