Nicole Buddle-Diaz, LCSW, CAP, BCD Nicole Buddle-Diaz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia and Florida, Certified Addictions Professional, and Board-Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work with over 20 years of clinical experience working with adults, children, adolescents, families, and couples of diverse ethnic backgrounds. She is particularly well versed in cultural issues specific to African Americans, Hispanics, Latinos, and Caribbean Islanders. She holds the following certifications/specialized training: Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Substance Use Disorders. She facilitates the healing process by assessing and treating the whole person. In numerous practice settings, she has treated clients with presenting problems such as grief, chemical dependency, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and relationship problems. Ms. Buddle Diaz’s passion of being a catalyst for mental health propels her to guide clients on their journey of holistic wellness. Nicole Buddle-Diaz obtained her Master of Science degree in Social Work, Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Minor Area of Concentration in International Relations, and Certificate in New World African Studies from Florida International University. She also received a Certificate of Addiction Studies and Education from the University of Miami. Most recently, Ms. Buddle-Diaz embarked upon a path to becoming a certified Gottman Couples Counseling Therapist by completing Level 1 and Level 2 training. When not engaged in professional endeavors, Ms. Buddle-Diaz enjoys spending time with her family, reading biographies or romance novels, traveling throughout the United States as well as various other countries, hiking/biking on trails, gardening, and knitting gifts for loved ones.
