My name is Mary Meehan. I have been in the educational and counseling field for most of my adult life. I began as a Teacher, grades K -8 in parochial schools. I then pursued my Masters in Professional Counseling. It was then that I fell in love with Counseling. I have been with the same non-profit Agency since 1998. Through this opportunity, I have not only Counseled Children, families and in some cases, the faculty and staff where there children attended school. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, and motivation, self-esteem and confidence. I also have experience working with memory and focus otherwise known as adhd. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I'm very proud of you for getting started! I look forward to walking this journey with you.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
