"Marla Seals is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with over 16 years of experience helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and women’s issues. She believes in creating a warm, approachable, and professional therapeutic environment, where a strong therapeutic alliance serves as the foundation for healing and growth. Marla integrates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Psychodynamic Therapy. She works collaboratively with clients to develop effective coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and create meaningful change. With a background in correctional facilities, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, community mental health, and residential treatment centers, Marla brings a deep understanding of complex mental health challenges. She is passionate about serving marginalized and vulnerable communities, including single parents, BIPOC individuals, and those impacted by urban stressors and the justice system. Marla believes mastery is built through repetition and that meaningful change happens through consistent effort. In her free time, she enjoys Diamond Art painting and spending time with her two Boxer dogs.
