I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina and Virginia. We are faced with so many obstacles in life that we never expected. Sometimes it is difficult navigating different stages in our life, we have challenges within our relationships, or we are being pulled in so many different directions, we don't know where to start. Then there are those moments that are so heavy and we are exhausted from carrying the burden all on our own. This can make us feel lost and overwhelmed. My approach to therapy is centered around you and your needs. I am here to help you navigate those unexpected obstacles. I am trained in EMDR and include foundations of cognitive behavioral therapy to address anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also incorporate a solution focused approach to situations that are not heavy as others. My goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for my clients to process all of life's obstacles. Our life is composed of countless puzzle pieces. My role is to help you sort out those pieces so you can continue to create your unique puzzle

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub pay fees to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
