As a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive care to adult patients of all ages. My educational background from Regis College of Nursing, coupled with my extensive experience working with families and other healthcare professionals, has equipped me with the skills necessary to develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize a holistic approach to mental health care. My goal is to not only alleviate symptoms, but to also enhance my patients' overall quality of life. I believe that effective communication is key in fostering a strong therapeutic relationship, which is why I prioritize creating a safe and welcoming environment in which my patients feel heard and supported. By working collaboratively with my patients, we are able to brainstorm ideas, develop a personalized plan of care, and set achievable goals that align with their unique needs and preferences. It is my passion to empower individuals to take control of their mental health and well-being, and I am committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to each and every one of my patients. In my role as a PMHNP, I serve as an educator, providing patients with the necessary information and resources to make informed decisions about their mental health care. I also advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with mental health issues, working to reduce stigma and promote access to quality care. Additionally, I offer therapeutic support to help patients address and overcome their mental health challenges, using evidence-based interventions to promote healing and recovery.
