Hello! I'm Madison, a motivated and energetic Licensed Behavior & Mental Health Therapist. I am currently licensed in FL, ID, UT, CO, NJ, IN, NH, NV, and WI, as well as SC and VT (telehealth only). With a master's degree in ABA therapy, I bring extensive experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with special needs such as Autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent disorders. My background spans corrections, forensics, severe mental health, and substance abuse settings, allowing me to work effectively with individuals of all ages. I am proficient in multiple therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Gestalt, and more. My approach is to support you in your journey by individualizing your treatment according to your unique needs. I believe that our minds are powerful and can be both challenging and amazing at different times, or sometimes, at the same time. With me, you will always feel supported. I am open to any situation and am a non-judgmental person who wants to ensure you always feel supported. If you think about all the things we live through and the challenges you are dealing with at this time, it shows how resilient you are. The beauty of mental health is that although it can tear us down, there are also many ways to build it up, and the process of change can be truly rewarding. No matter how severe your challenge, know that there is a lot of support out there for you, and I am here for the journey with you. I specialize in disorders such as personality disorders, schizophrenia-type disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and many others. You deserve to have a therapist who teaches you new ways to deal with your mind. Through new, positive coping skills, talking through distorted thought patterns, and having a fresh perspective, change can happen, and your symptoms can alleviate. I also love working with couples who need help through various issues. Whether the couple decides to stay together or end their relationship, I believe that just like there is “entrance counseling” for people who are going to get married, there is also a form of “exit counseling” at the end of a marriage or relationship. Relationships should only truly end when two people have tried everything possible to fix what was/is broken. When it comes to people with addictions, addiction is not just about substances used or money spent; it includes a lot more, such as grief for the thing that has “supported” them in a negative way for years. Just because the addiction was unhealthy does not mean we do not form bonds with it, like a bad relationship. Through grief work, it is possible to work through the thoughts and feelings around the loss of the thing that has kept those of you who struggle with addiction so content for the time it did. If you are ready to embark on this journey towards healing and self-discovery, I am here to support you every step of the way. Let's work together to build a brighter future.
