She not only connected them with vital community resources but also offered emotional support during moments of anxiety, depression, and trauma. Lisa's also provided a compassionate presence during their journey through grief. Lisa's commitment to mental health and holistic well-being led her to work as a therapist at a bariatric and obesity doctor's office. Here, she utilized a diverse array of therapeutic techniques, drawing from talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and acceptance therapy. Lisa also offered community resources and worksheets while she guided them towards achieving their mental health and physical health goals. Lisa was fortunate to live overseas for two years.
