Kristin Bartell
Kristin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience treating a wide range of behavioral health challenges and symptoms using various clinical approaches. She has worked extensively with survivors of trauma, and the complex associated challenges. She also collaborates with clients to aid their management of substance use disorders (SUDs), typically with co- occurring diagnoses. She views feedback-informed therapy as vital for success, and she values the role of psycho-education in the therapeutic setting. Using a compassionate, judgement-free style, she seeks to meet her clients where they are. She has found that introducing mindfulness and affect regulation skills helps struggling clients to rapidly experience a sense of relief. Some of the therapeutic modalities that she works with are informed by CBT/Rational Living Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Internal Family System. Her philosophy is built on the belief that all people deserve to be treated with dignity. She looks forward to collaborating in your pursuit of building a life with reduced suffering and increased joy.
