Hello I am Kelvin.

I have been a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for over three years. I began working in mental health ten years ago providing inpatient psychiatric care starting at the University of Texas Health Harris County Psychiatric Center before joining Houston Behavioral Health care Hospital. As a PMHNP I also started in an inpatient provider. I also provided care in a clinic and outpatient basis.

I have lots of experience in treating patients with a variety of mental health conditions at varying levels of acuity. While my focus is medication management, I believe that medications assist the client in gaining control of their situation. The client has an additional role of doing what is in their power along with the medication, to achieve optimal results.
