I am a licensed clinical social worker with a neuroscience informed perspective specializing in trauma, grief and addiction. I have a genuine love, empathy and fascination with people and their experiences, and I believe this gives me a talent for understanding where my clients are coming from. I believe that healing ourselves is the most vital courageous thing we could do for ourselves and the collective. I've come to know that growth is often very uncomfortable and even painful. Which is why so many people choose not to! Because of this, I believe in bringing as much joy and passion as possible into your treatment journey. Trauma, grief and addiction can rob us of our connection to life, and I think love, our values, creativity, and compassion can anchor us back into our desired experiences.
I utilize a combination of behavioral therapy (DBT,CBT), somatic experiencing for teaching nervous system regulation skills, as well as values exploration, art and storytelling.
