In addition, I have worked with a range of mood issues, various traumas, family alignments, and a host of issues that may lead one to seeking therapy. (559) 242-6670 Theoretical models I apply, include a cognitive behavioral model emphasizing using behavior to get the changes you want. In practice, I've found this model to be accessible for first time clients, offer a practical conceptualization of therapy work, and all while offering an ease of going "deeper" as work may incorporate childhood experiences, attachment, relational dynamics, and in room transference. When I work with couples/families I utilize a structural model which emphasizes getting parents on the same team and building a functional hierarchy for the family unit. I emphasize the need for structure within the family, based on my work in-home with resource families, foster kids, and the resulting effect of not having a constructive structure in the home. On the clinical side, every client will be offered a review of their treatment plan and asked for feedback which eliminates the mystery of therapy and ensures focus to the work by clearly defining goals and interventions. Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
