Julie is a compassionate therapist with over 10 years of counseling experience specializing in working with adults with trauma, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, family relationship problems, anger, grief and loss, life changes and navigating adulthood. She has a master's degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. She can help you move from feeling stuck and incapable of change to a place of freedom and relief. She uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Polyvagal Theory, Solution Focused and Internal Family Systems. Creative techniques and exercises include art-based interventions, guided mediation or journaling. These creative methods can help clients tap into their inner wisdom. She is passionate about helping clients navigate their inner experiences, cultivate self-awareness, and develop coping strategies to live a more fulfilling life. She strives to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their emotions and work towards healing and personal growth. Outside of her therapy practice, she enjoy hiking, painting, kayaking and spending time with my family, friends and of course my dogs!
