My name if Dr. Johnetta E. Myers. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate of Education in Counseling Psychology and 20 years experience in the field of Social Work. I am English speaking only. My clinical experience includes over five years of in-person and remote therapeutic services. I practice the following therapeutic approaches of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Brief Therapy, Strength Based Perspective, and Motivation Interviewing Therapy to assist clients in becoming their best. I am licensed to practice in the states of Georgia, California, South Carolina, and North Dakota. As a Social Worker and Licensed Clinician, I am experienced with providing clinical support to diverse populations. Those populations include individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities, terminally ill inpatient and outpatient clients, individuals diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, individuals who identify as heterosexual, homosexual, and non-binary, school age children, college students, adults, and professionals from a cross section of professions including education, law enforcement, and science and technology. My formative education, years of experience, providing services to diverse populations and the application of multiple therapeutic approaches make me a great choice to accompany clients on their journey to better health and mental health.
