We live in a day and time that is often so overwhelming it is difficult to feel present enough to focus on ourselves. Whether it is dealing with loss, unwanted change such as divorce or loss of a relationship, or wanting to find purpose and meaning in our lives, it is challenging to know how to deal with such life-altering events. By working with me, I believe you will find hope through the understanding and discovery of your own potential through our counseling sessions.
I graduated with a doctorate from the University of West Georgia with a dissertation that focused on perceptual psychology theory which is based on the idea that the way that we see ourselves and others impacts our behavior. As a Licensed Professional Counselor for the past 15 years, I have helped clients discover how their own perceptions have influenced where they are in their own lives and how this knowledge can help them move in the direction they want to take.
