Hello! I'm Jennifer, and I'm here to help you navigate the complexities of life. Are you feeling overwhelmed by life stressors? Does adulting feel like it sounded a lot more fun than what it has turned out to be? Sometimes, people really need a shoulder to lean on, a person to talk to, and a break from all the stress. I can help you learn the coping skills to handle the day-to-day stressors that are wearing you down. Together, we will explore your strengths, talk through your challenges, and learn ways to become emotionally resilient and psychologically flexible. We can look at how cognitive distortions may be making you miserable, how to change that negative self-talk, and how to end the ruminating thoughts that won't go away.


I have more than 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I graduated with my Master of Social Work degree from Saint Louis University and have been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for several years. My experience includes working with individuals diagnosed with a variety of mental health challenges, such as Major Depression, Generalized and Social Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, OCD, ADHD, ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Schizoaffective Disorder.


I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) concepts, tailoring your treatment to meet your unique needs and goals. My specialties include working with psychosis and schizophrenia, multicultural and diversity issues, suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors, LGBTQIA+ support, dementia, grief and bereavement, traumatic brain injury, anxiety, stress, medical issues and physical health, somatic symptom disorder, depression, family relationships, life transitions, and more.
