Hi, I’m Jen, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a background in both school and mental health settings. I’m also a certified school counselor and teacher, which means I bring a deep understanding of how stress, pressure, and change show up, especially for kids, teens, and young adults. Since 2007, I’ve supported people through life’s messy, meaningful moments, including academic stress, family dynamics, anxiety, big life transitions, the college application process, and challenges tied to workplace culture or job searches. I work with clients across different ages and stages, and my experience in schools gives me particular insight into the worlds of students and educators. I understand how systems, expectations, and invisible pressure can take a toll on mental health, whether you are a teen trying to stay afloat or an adult working in education and quietly burning out. That insight helps me offer targeted, empathetic support to people in those spaces, while still working broadly with anyone who is navigating change or looking for more clarity and steadiness. Whether you are facing school challenges, stepping into adulthood, or just trying to feel more like yourself again, we will work together in a way that feels grounded and supportive. My style is warm, honest, and down to earth, blending curiosity, practical tools, and just the right amount of challenge. Therapy with me is not about perfection. Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
