"Jeanie Shade is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Montana, earned in 2010. Specializing in a broad array of issues such as anger management, anxiety, codependency, depression, divorce, gender identity, relationship issues, and trauma, Jeanie has extensive experience in both acute psychiatric settings and private practice. From 2016 to 2019, she worked on an acute psychiatric hospital unit, employing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to help patients navigate severe emotional crises. Currently practicing with Northwest Arkansas Psychotherapy in Bentonville, AR, Jeanie also works with clients on the BetterHelp platform, utilizing evidence-based CBT and Somatic Therapy to address anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. She is allied with diverse groups, including LGBTQ+, people with disabilities, single mothers, women, neurodiverse individuals, and survivors of trauma and abuse.
