"Jaime Henderson holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco, earned in 2011. With extensive experience working in diverse treatment settings such as schools, community mental health agencies, outreach clinical services, and inpatient hospitals, Jaime is committed to person-centered care, tailoring her approach to each client's unique history and needs. She specializes in working with LGBTQ+, single mothers, women, BIPOC, men's mental health, survivors of trauma and abuse, and those with chronic illnesses. Jaime has cultural knowledge and experience working with individuals from African American, diasporic or Black culture, Asian and Pacific Islander diasporic cultures, bicultural/multicultural people, Caribbean cultures, and Latin American and Pacific Islander cultures. She is also well-versed in various spiritual backgrounds, including Buddhism, Catholicism, Christianity, Hinduism, Indigenous spiritualities, Jehovah's Witnesses, Judaism, land/earth-based spiritualities, and nonreligious or secular perspectives. In her spare time, Jaime enjoys reading, photography, and spending quality time with her family. She also participates in yoga and mindfulness activities to maintain her emotional wellness.
