Hi there–My name is Gina!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently providing telehealth services. I understand how terrifying it may be to start therapy and enter into a therapeutic relationship and I recognize the courage and vulnerability it takes to make this step. I want to meet you where you are, not where you or anyone else thinks you “should” be. I make every effort to create a safe and comfortable space that makes you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. Your story, your pain, and your collection of struggles are unique to you, which is why I believe each individual requires an approach specific to their specific needs and goals. Instead of telling you what to do, I will help you find your authentic voice. Together we will discover ways for you to address your concerns, working to help you live a more satisfying, meaningful life – whatever that may look like for you.

I currently work at an outpatient mental health and addiction center as an individual therapist for adults, teens, and children who struggle with various mental health issues. I have extensive experience in the areas of depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, and eating disorders.

An unknown author wrote a favorite quote of mine that states, “Bad chapters can still create a story that ends well. Let your past be part of your story, not your identity.” I hope to work alongside you as you create a new story that allows you to reach your full potential. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
