Hello! I'm Gina Mazzone, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, with a Master's in Social Work from Cleveland State University. With over 17 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals from all walks of life, including children, adolescents, and adults, as they navigate their unique journeys.
I approach therapy with a blend of methods tailored to your needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Systems Theory, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I also draw on Motivational Interviewing and Depth Psychology to create a personalized experience that is as unique as you are. My goal is to empower you, helping you build confidence, manage anxiety, and navigate life’s transitions with strength and clarity.
I specialize in a broad range of areas, including addiction, anxiety, ADHD, autism support, children’s and adolescent mental health, depression, family relationships, grief, life transitions, medical challenges, perinatal support (pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum), intimate relationships, sex and intimacy issues, stress, anger management, LGBTQIA+ support, multicultural and diversity issues, trauma, learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, and gender identity.
In our sessions, you’ll find a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space. We’ll work together as a team to address your concerns and goals. Whether you’re facing challenges with substance use, academic struggles, body image issues, or navigating life changes, I’m here to walk beside you every step of the way. My focus is on helping you find clarity, build resilience, and achieve a sense of well-being.
Outside of my professional life, I love hiking, reading, and listening to podcasts. I also cherish spending time with my children—it's a reminder of the importance of balance and self-care in life.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your journey, I would be honored to work with you. Let’s take this path together.
