A healthy mental state is essential at every stage of life—from childhood through adulthood. Mental health challenges can arise at any time, impacting not only mood and behavior, but also how individuals think, cope, and experience the world around them.
As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and author, I specialize in working with adolescents and adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, and depression, with a primary focus on ADHD and its impact on focus, emotional regulation, and relationships. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to meet each person where they are—helping them build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
In addition to my clinical work, I am the author of 'When Your Partner Has ADHD,' 'When Marriage Meets ADHD,' and 'Racecar Brain: Fast Thoughts, Big Feelings, and Life with Adult ADHD.' Through my writing, I provide practical, real-world tools to help individuals and couples better understand ADHD, improve communication, and manage the challenges of everyday life.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Towson University and my graduate degree from Walden University. I am a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the American Nurses Association.
