A healthy mental state is essential in every stage of life – from childhood, adolescent, to adulthood. An individual can experience mental health issue at any point. Not only can this impact their mood and behavior, but can change their way of thinking, looking at life, and facing challenges. As a Board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience in treating patients with a wide range of conditions that includes PTSD, major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, ADHD, bipolar disorder, I meet each individual where they are in their life stage and use my expertise in psychiatry to guide them to a healthy mental state. I earned my undergrad degree at Towson University in 2001 and obtained my graduate degree at Walden University in 2019. I worked in residential, community, and acute care settings with children, adolescent, and adults. I went on to earn my master’s degree at Walden University in 2019 and have enjoyed the flexibility and autonomy it provides. I am a member of the Phi Nu Chapter of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Tau International and a member of American Nurses Association. In my free time I enjoy nature & spending time with my family. I currently serve adolescent and adult population on an outpatient basis. https://www.epi-inclusivementalhealth.com/
