Hello, I'm Beth, and I'm so glad you're here. Therapy is a collaborative process that is built on trust and fosters insight as well as growth. It is important to me to create a safe, open, and non-judgmental atmosphere where you feel comfortable to share and express your unique life experiences. My practice is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Holistic Coaching. I utilize affirmative psychotherapy, meeting you where you are in your own space and time. My clients often describe me as passionate, caring, and humorous, and I strive to bring those qualities into every session.
I hold an MSW and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as well as a Licensed Independent Social Worker. My current practice focuses on sexual health concerns, and I specialize in working with issues such as trauma, erectile dysfunction, lack of sexual desire, hypersexual desire, out of control sexual behavior (sex/porn addiction), kink, polyamory, gender dysphoria, and other issues within the LGBTQIA+ population. Additionally, I offer support for gender identity, intimate and romantic relationships, military and veteran support, PTSD, sex and intimacy issues, stress, and trauma.
My goal in working with you is to affirm your perception of yourself and to celebrate your unique intersecting identities in relation to gender, sex, trauma, and relationships. Creating meaningful relationships, whether with yourself or another individual, is an essential element to healing. Together, we can work towards building those connections and fostering a deeper understanding of yourself.
If you're ready to take the next step in your journey, I'm here to support you. Let's work together to create the life you envision.
