Hello, I'm Liz. Life is a journey with no destination, and the more resources we have, the better equipped we are to face its challenges. My mission is to help others find joy and fulfillment, even in the midst of significant difficulties. I specialize in supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and life transitions, but I welcome anyone feeling stuck or overwhelmed in any area of their life.
My approach is holistic, integrating the mind, body, and spirit. As a wellness-focused, person-centered therapist, I draw from a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. I also use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help individuals process and heal from trauma. Some individuals have experienced "big" T traumas—those life-altering, severe events—while others have faced "little" t traumas, which may be more subtle or chronic, but still have a significant emotional impact. Both types of trauma can lead to profound social, emotional, and psychological challenges, and both deserve attention and care in therapy.
I hold a Master's degree (MA) and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am passionate about creating a therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, understood, and supported, fostering a safe space for vulnerability, healing, and personal growth.
If you're ready to embark on a journey towards healing and self-discovery, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Let's work together to find the joy and fulfillment you deserve.
