Hello! I'm Danica Gurdinak. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. I work with both children (12+) and adults.

I graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a M.S. in Clinical & Counseling Psychology, as well as, a concentration in co-occurring disorders. Following this, I have been working in the field for five years.

There is an old quote that says "Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional." This is a saying that I came to live by & is one that I hope to teach to my clients. Life is unfortunately not always sunshine & rainbows, but it is up to us to give ourselves the skills & tools we need to not suffer through it.

Overall, I hope to gift my clients the support, guidance, & mindset to overcome and find their strengths. In DBT, the objective is to build a life worth living & that's the work I do with my clients.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
