I am passionate about the next generation. Children, adolescents, and young adults have a plethora of information overloading their minds and bodies daily. Often, this information causes sensory overload and produces feelings of distress that manifest as depression, anxiety, social isolation, disconnection, and much more. I believe that by providing a safe space to question, process, and examine the world, children, teens, and young adults can heal from traumatic experiences, grow into their purpose, and become resilient and self-empowered individuals. I enjoy working with youth of all ages. Whether utilizing play therapy with younger clients or engaging in art, relational, and cognitive behavioral techniques with teens and young adults, I specialize in navigating the unknown and often confusing road of complex thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and emotions. If you are a parent or young person who finds yourself discouraged and saying, “I have tried everything. Nothing works,” then I encourage you to open your mind and heart one more time to engage in counseling with me. Let me come alongside and walk this journey of healing, growing, and becoming with you. You are not alone in this world. Although much of my time is spent with children, adolescents, and young adults. I do work with adults who are seeking personal and/or spiritual growth and healing. I work with adults who experience feelings of distress due to current or past trauma(s), feelings of anxiety, feelings of depression, and feelings of hopelessness among a few. I believe that all people long to experience a sense of meaning and purpose in life. When meaning, purpose, and peace are absent from life, negative thoughts and feelings begin to surface affecting our ability to remain present and fully experience our world.
