Colette Sanner (she/her/hers) is a LPC and ALPS who has been providing an Existential Humanistic Approach to therapy with dual diagnosis clients, and also has worked as a holistic Behavioral Health Coach, specializing in Mind-Body-Medicine for over 20 years. She enjoys supporting her clients persuaded by the Humanistic Theory with interventions that include: Exploring the things that bring meaning to one’s life and identifying one’s values; Accepting responsibility for one’s own choices; Recognizing one’s own power to make changes; Addressing one’s spirituality to improve anxiety and depression; Finding alternative solutions to problems; Using DBT to improve distress tolerance; Using CBT to combat negative thinking and change problematic thoughts and behaviors; Understanding how one perceives and makes meaning out of experiences; Growing one’s support network and connectivity to the community; Finding one’s purpose and meaning in life by driving towards self-actualization; and Focusing on the positive attributes each individual and whole person possesses.
