Hello! I’m Coleen, and I’m dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to my clients. With a strong educational foundation, holding a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh, I’ve honed my skills through nearly twenty years of experience in the mental health field.
My professional journey began while interning in child and adolescent community-based mental health programs where I learned the fundamentals of working together to form a therapeutic alliance and navigate the family and community dynamics involved. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, ranging from residential treatment to community-based mental health programs, and outpatient clinics. I spent 15 years helping my clients through in-person sessions, then transitioned to the virtual model.
I've specialized in providing trauma-informed care to my clients and have studied several different models. This allows us to collaboratively tailor our approach to what is most effective for you. I’m particularly passionate about self-care, meditation, and mindfulness, and I find ways to integrate these helpful skills into the work that we do together.
