Clara Peretz
Hello! I'm Clara. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with experience treating individuals diagnosed with PTSD, depression, and anxiety. I received my BA in Sociology from Wesleyan University and MSSW from the University of Texas at Austin. My approach is trauma-informed and systems-centered, and I am committed to working from an anti-oppressive framework. Therapy with me looks like co-creating a non-judgmental and affirming space where your thoughts, feelings, and experiences can be explored. I believe in the healing power of relationships and emphasize trust and honesty within the therapeutic relationship. I will invite you to share about your experience of treatment and will also share about how I am experiencing our dynamic. My goal is for our relationship to inspire new insights that help you build and maintain a healthy support system. I specialize in working with folks who have experienced trauma, loss, psychosis, addiction, and codependency in relationships. I identify and empathize with the unique barriers faced by the LGBTQIA+ community, and welcome clients from all gender and sexual identities.
