Hello! I'm Chrissy. What is your story? I am truly interested in helping you find what you are looking for from your counseling experience. Whether this is your introduction to a therapy resource or you are well-versed, I would be thrilled to work with you to achieve your goals and make meaningful changes in your life.
A little bit about who I am... I come from a rich family history of military service, for which I am extremely proud and grateful! I am married to a first responder and we have 4 amazing children, one of which is currently serving in the military. We love spending time together, outdoors especially, and we are also very active in our faith community.
My education spans many years. After high school, I attended nursing school and worked in our local hospital. When we started our family, I chose to be a stay-at-home-mom, which I enjoyed for 18 years. During that time at home, I participated in various volunteer roles and felt called to this profession. In 2016, I graduated with my BA in Psychology from Waldorf University. In 2020, I completed my MS in Professional Counseling through Grand Canyon University and returned to compete a Post-Masters in Addiction Counseling Certificate in 2024. I am also a certified Prolonged Exposure Therapy provider.
My specializations are in PTSD, Adult ADHD, and Co-Occurring Substance Use Disorders, but I am well-versed in working with Anxiety, Depression, Grief, and many other mental health diagnoses.
So, how can I help?
