Chinwe Ezeukwu
Chinwe Sandra Ezeukwu is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I obtained my Master degree in Nursing with focus on Psychiatry from Walden University and my Bachelors degree in Nusing from Grand Canyon University. I have over twenty years of healthcare experience as an acute care nurse and a Psychiatric Mental health service provider at different University Hospitals. My focus is on the treatment of mood disorders ( Bipolar, Depression), trauma, psychotic disorders, Neurodevelopemental disorder (ADHD, ASD), Anxiety disorder, and chronic mental illness through psychiatric assessment, medication management and brief psychotherapeutic intervention for childhood (early years) through adolescence, adulthood, and into older ages (Across the Lifespan). I cared for the needs of adolescents dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.I had also worked with young adults going away to college for the first time as well as graduating college and moving into the work world. I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, Interprofessional collaboration and and evidence-based practice with patients with patients and families.
