My name is Cheryl Mitchell, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) ready to assist
you with making positive changes to your life. I have worked in various areas of behavioral
addictions (e.g. gambling), mental health and substance use settings such as case
management, SUD IOP (Substance Use Disorder Intensive outpatient program), MH PHP
(Mental Health Partial Hospitalization Program) as well as provided individual counseling in an
inpatient and outpatient setting.
I utilize an “eclectic approach” to counseling, meaning I will meet you where you are at and find
the best way to help you in your journey as no two people are the same. I am trained in
Cognitive-Behavioral therapy and Motivational Interviewing as well as other treatment
