I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a master’s degree and over 25 years of experience in the health care industry. My journey began as a CNA, then an RN, and later an RN-BSN—each step deepening my love for patient care. Along the way, I developed a passion for mental health and decided to expand my practice to serve this vital need.
My career has taken me across borders—from Ghana and England to the USA—giving me a unique perspective on culturally sensitive care. I’ve worked in diverse specialties, but what stays constant is my commitment to empathy, compassion, and treating each person as a whole.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Care of the Older Person from the University of West England, Bristol (2008), my RN-BSN from Grand Canyon University in Arizona, and my PMHNP from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.
To me, healing starts with human connection. Everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. That’s why I take a patient-centered approach, with personalized treatment plans that includes medication management, therapy, including genetic testing to guide decisions. I also emphasize lifestyle factors—like nutrition, sleep, and exercise—because mental health is woven into every part of life.
I currently welcome new patients and specialize in: Depression & Anxiety PTSD, OCD, and Panic Disorders ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and Psychoses Addiction and Personality Disorders
When I’m not working, you’ll find me with family and friends, volunteering, or sharing mental health education with youth groups, couples, and organizations., and it inspires the holistic care I offer—because true wellness encompasses mind, body, and spirit.
