Benard Choi, MSN, PMHNP-BC, Mental health issues can be a challenge and hence affecting one's quality of life and that of the family as well. I have an extensive experience in treating patients with various mental health disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar, addiction problems, sleep disorders eating disorders among others .I carry out a thorough assessment using history and other information given, after obtaining a patient history, examining the patient, and obtaining the right diagnosis using DSM-5 criteria, i use evidence-based practice to come up with the appropriate treatment plan prescribe the appropriate medications and or therapy in order to treat. My focus is based on providing holistic, evidence-based care centered on social, cultural, and preventive aspects of mental health. I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am licensed to practice in TX,AZ,CO, NM, IA, WA, MD and I am dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals across the lifespan. My approach is collaborative and patient-centered, focusing on understanding each person’s unique experiences and goals. I have experience working with a wide range of psychiatric conditions and am committed to helping clients achieve improved well-being and quality of life.
