Are you noticing yourself feeling stuck in your day-to-day life? Do you ever find yourself questioning why you feel the way you do? Or maybe you have experienced something that is holding you back from becoming your best self?
I understand life can be difficult at times, especially if you are feeling alone or unsure of what you need in order to help you move forward. I also understand that starting therapy can feel scary; however, it is a significant step towards your path of healing. To ensure a safe space for you, I create a warm, empathetic, and accepting environment for you to explore and cope with life's challenges together. Through a strength-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach, I recognize the importance of building a relationship with you to establish attainable goals together. This allows us to explore your primary interests, cater to your individual needs, and foster empowerment to reach your highest potential.
I graduated from the University of Denver with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Now, as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), I specialize in working with adolescents aged 15+ and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, eating disorders, low self-esteem, identity development, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
I employ a collaborative and strength-based approach while incorporating mindfulness techniques and positive psychology. I enjoy being a mental health professional because it allows me to have the opportunity to connect with wonderful people and hold space to process emotions and explore tools to improve healthy coping. It is truly an honor being a part of an individual's healing journey, and I hope to have the chance to be a part of your healing journey.
Let's set up a 15-minute phone call and see if we are a fit! After our chat, I invite you to schedule our first appointment together.
