Hi there, my name is Anna, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Indiana. Taking that first step to acknowledging that you need help, is the hardest one, so finding a counselor you are able to connect with shouldn't be. If you're looking for a counselor who is laid back and easy to speak with we may be a good fit. I believe talking things out with someone who is open to hearing anything you may have to say and not passing judgment is a rare find, but I am someone who is very accepting of the things that you may have a hard time discussing with others. I am one who will work to keep the mood light when needed but also provide the space to experience emotions without shame. During those times of processing I like to utilize the last few minutes of session to debrief, wind down, and possibly experience some laughter prior to ending session so you are able to leave feeling better.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
