Hello, I'm Angela. My journey into counseling began as a second career, driven by a deeply personal experience. After witnessing a close friend struggle for years to find appropriate mental health care for their child, I felt a strong calling to give back and support others facing similar challenges. This led me to leave my for-profit position and pursue more meaningful work in counseling and psychology. These include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. I have been practicing meditation and body-centered awareness for many years, and I often incorporate these mindfulness techniques into my sessions. Additionally, I have some experience with psychedelic integration, which can be a valuable tool for certain clients.
