I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and I primarily work with patients for medication mangement for many different psychiatric conditions and I 'sprinkle' therapeutic measures in to my approach with our visits to encourage re-training of unhealthy cognitive processes . I am a medically experienced clinician who is well versed in general medicine and have practiced as an RN for 10yrs+ years in intensive and critical care units prior to becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the beginning of 2020. My experience, expertise and compassion cover a wide range of areas of physical and psychiatric healthcare as an inpatient and outpatient provider. I am committed to advocating for patients, examining the need for medication, incorporate + educate on non-pharmacological treatment options to develop an individualized plan of care for each person based on their goals for their mental wellness.
