Hello, I'm Amanda, and I'm thrilled to be part of your journey towards healing and self-discovery. My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in the belief that we cannot separate the mind from the body. I don't think we can simply THINK ourselves out of a problem. All parts of you matter, and we will include all parts of you in your therapy journey. Together, we will uncover these parts in a safe, non-judgmental space to truly heal, love, and accept all aspects of yourself – this is how we create lasting change.
I have an MA and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with extensive experience in the mind-body connection, gut-brain health, and holistic wellness. My therapy skills are enhanced with alternative medicine and nutrition for mental health. I love working with individuals who want to overcome anxiety and depression, heal past trauma, and resolve relationship conflicts. I get excited about teaching my clients how their minds, brains, and bodies work to empower them in ways that impact their mental, physical, and relational health.
I am passionate about helping women acknowledge their true worth and break generational patterns that have kept them stuck. The issues I am experienced in working with range from anxiety, self-esteem/identity issues, and body shame, to childhood or chronic trauma, the mind-body connection, and depression.
When I became a licensed therapist, I knew there was so much more to healing and life than just talking about our feelings. My life outside of sessions is a reflection of what I have learned over the last two decades; from the way I think and talk to myself, to the foods that I nourish my body with, and the way I move each day. My goal is to meet you right where you are and walk alongside you, at your pace, without letting you give up. You deserve to feel amazing and truly enjoy the life you're living. Healing and transformation are possible for you.
If you're ready to start this journey, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
