Hello! I'm a licensed clinical social worker and work with adults 18+. When getting to know new clients, it's important to me to show curiosity, empathy and positive regard. In my view, the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of therapy and I work hard to make my clients feel seen and understood. My favorite interventions include grounding and mindfulness exercises. I also offer EMDR to help clients process trauma. Further, we will work on the development of more resource, more safety and autonomy and clear communication skills including boundary work. My goal is for you to feel less alone with your struggles and to experience a reduction in your symptoms.

My areas of specialization include childhood trauma, church hurt and queer issues, including family estrangement. I'm a member of the LGBTQ+ community and offer an inclusive, safe and accepting space. My practice is also sex-positive, gender-affirming and anti-racist.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
