Accepting new patients ages 4-24 only. I completed my General Psychiatry residency in Miami at Larkin Community Hospital affiliated with Nova Southeastern University. I also completed my Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training at University of Virginia (UVA). Before becoming the owner and Chief Medical Officer for Summit Pediatric Psychiatry, I provided mental health services at inpatient/outpatient for Baptist Behavioral Health and Wolfson Children’s Hospital at Jacksonville, Fl. I aim to early identify and help children and adolescents overcome their mental health challenges. My philosophy of care is to provide a unique and empathetic assessment of my patient and their family members to implement the best recommendations for a greater chance of recovery from mental health conditions. Psychotherapy and medication management is provided for mental health disorders such as: Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Depression, Anxiety Disorders, etc. In cases where medication management is indicated, I will discuss in detail the benefits and risks of any evidence-based treatment plan. I am also a proficient bilingual physician for English and Spanish with basic level Portuguese.
